For many years, through his association with a number of leading financial services organizations, Mr. Chilewich has developed a successful career in the financial services industry specializing in asset growth and protection, and income maximization during the retirement years. Melvin Chilewich, JD, has authored and published various articles on financial, legal and investment topics. He is a frequent presenter of workshops throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York on the universal requirements for effective financial solutions for today’s estate and retirement planning needs, as well as for income and asset protection. In fact, he has developed a unique financial process, the “Safe Money Asset Protection System “ (SMAPS), which helps preserve assets and maximizes income during the retirement years with minimal risk. Heattributes much of his success to over 30 years of experience as an attorney, international businessman and trade consultant. Mr. Chilewich is a member of the New York and New Jersey State Bars, was a three time President of the South Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) 2005-2008, and President of New Jersey NAIFA, 2008-2009. He is also a member of the Society of Financial Services Professionals. For a period of time Mel had served as an adjunct Assistant Professor of International Marketing at The University of The Sciences in Philadelphia. Mr. Chilewich is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Genesis Economic Self Sufficiency Program, Camden New Jersey, where he serves as its Chairman. That organization sponsors the Camden Comprehensive Center for Fathers, part of a natlional inititiative. Mel has been married to his wife, Jane, for 45 years; together they have three children and nine grandchildren, and reside in Cherry Hill, Camden County, New Jersey.
